BuildingIQ and SkyFoundry's Technology Integration for Energy Efficient Shopping Center

SAN FRANCISCO: BuildingIQ, an energy management software provider, and SkyFoundry, owner of SkySpark analytics software, have integrated their technologies to deliver on energy efficiency for the Mount Pleasant Shopping Centre in Queensland.

SkySpark provides real-time metering data comes in handy for BuildingIQ’s predictive energy optimization software to bring about advanced thermal model of the shopping center. With this integration, maximizing energy efficiency and reducing operating costs can be automated. Cost savings can be achieved as human intervention is kept minimal and operating cost is reduced.

CFS Property Trust Group (CFX), which manages Mount Pleasant Shopping Centre mentions that they could achieve asset performance optimization and continuous Return-Of-Investments through the implementation of BuildingIQ’s technology.

“BuildingIQ and SkyFoundry’s software combined to seamlessly integrate into our property’s existing building management system. The new automated approach needs minimal input from the facility’s staff, freeing them up to handle other labor intensive tasks,” says Scott Horsnell of CFX.
